| The nonprofit LAFC Chelsea soccer club is planning to field a franchise in the Women's Premier Soccer League. The club's vice president of soccer operations, Ted Chronopoulos, says the addition of a WPSL team will raise LAFC's stature and help recruiting by creating the rare incentive among youth clubs of offering playing opportunities beyond the under-19 division. |
