There have been problems around Europe with fans throwing objects at players and causing injuries, fear or both. But when Spartak Moscow fans hit Dinamo Moscow defender Vladimir Rykov directly atop the head with a snowball last weekend, it didn't seem to cause him either one.
Rykov was walking up the pitch when the snowball connected with his melon, prompting him to calmly look up to the stands.
Anyway, this was something of an improvement to the escalator apocalypse Spartak and CSKA Moscow fans caused last week.
