Aragones gets goodbye present

A Spanish soccer fan celebrates at the Kurfuerstendamm boulevard in Berlin, Germany, Sunday, June 29, 2008 after Spain defeated Germany 1-0 during the final of the Euro 2008 soccer championships in Vienna, Austria.

Luis Aragones just made someone's job a lot more difficult. The Spain coach led his team to its second major international soccer trophy Sunday with a 1-0 win over Germany in the European Championship final. It was the 69-year-old coach's final game with the national team, leaving his successor with the unenviable task of trying to continue the success at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is set to be out for up to six weeks with an ankle injury. Walcott turned his right ankle in the buildup to Wayne Rooney's opening goal for England in a 3-1 victory over Switzerland on Tuesday and was carried off the field on a stretcher. "The tackle looked quite bad," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday.
