Ivan Klasnic, the first kidney transplant recipient to play at the European Championship, scored Monday to give Croatia a 1-0 win against Poland. But Carlos Fernandez de Retana, Klagenfurt's delegate to Euro 2008, said there are no plans for heavy-handed segregation tactics apart from simply keeping the fans apart at its new 30,000 Woerthersee stadium, which hosts three games.

Swiss border guards refused six German hooligans entry into the country Friday. Passport checks showed the six men, aged 23 to 33, have a history of violence at sporting events, border police said in a statement. Two knives, two mouth guards and several padded gloves were found during a search of the men's car at a border crossing near Basel.
