Lukas Podolski converted a late penalty Sunday to give Cologne a 1-0 victory in Stuttgart and lift his team from the bottom of the Bundesliga. Podolski scored after Milivoje Novakovic had been pulled down by Gregor Niedermeier in the 82nd minute.
