UEFA upholds 4-match ban for Steaua's Kapetanos
UEFA has rejected an appeal by Steaua Bucharest forward Pantelis Kapetanos against his four-match ban for elbowing a Napoli player during a Europa League game. UEFA says its appeal body upheld a disciplinary ruling which excludes Kapetanos from the Romanian club's remaining group stage matches -- against Twente, Liverpool and Napoli.

Steaua Bucharest forward Pantelis Kapetanos has been banned for four matches by UEFA for elbowing a Napoli player in a stormy Europa League match last week. Both clubs have also been fined, plus Steaua official Marius Ianuli was fined ?5,000 ($7,000) for comments made to Polish referee Marcin Borksi.
