Barca B-team star Soriano to join Salzburg

Barcelona says it has reached a tentative deal with Red Bull Salzburg for the transfer of B-team striker Jonathan Soriano. The Spanish champions said on Thursday that Soriano was traveling to Austria where the deal will be completed after he passes a medical exam. The 26-year-old Catalan player led Spain's second division with 32 goals last season.

FC Twente says it has fired coach Co Adriaanse and Dutch media are reporting that former England coach Steve McClaren will return to the club he led to its first Dutch league title.
