Guus Hiddink signed a new contract Monday as Russia's national soccer coach through the 2010 World Cup. Financial details were not disclosed by Russian soccer federation spokesman Andrei Malosolov. Many Russians were reluctant to let a non-Russian coach the national team. But he was hailed after Russia beat England in a European Championship qualifier.
